Japanese Glass Craft

Although glass only has a history of 200 years in Japan, local craftsmen developed their own distinctive techniques to produce a great variety of beautiful craftworks, among which Kiriko Cut glass is very famous.

Glass craft first originated in the South of Japan and then expand all over the country. Nowadays there are many Japanese style objects made from glass such as Sake-sets.
