ZORI sandals are a type of traditional Japanese footwear. Initially they were made of straw and used with Kimono. Nowadays ZORI are made of various materials and they usually have a rubber sole. Zori can be used indoor, with informal wear or as beach sandals.
YAMATO KOBO is a maker of contemporary Zori from the city of Nara - the center of Zori production in Japan. Their sandals are used by many high class Japanese hotels and inns. Different from traditional Zori the SAKAGAWA Zories differentiate right and left foot by placing the thong at the most appropriate place, which makes them comfortable to wear.
