MBC is a young Kyoto based company aiming to combine Japanese technology with Kyoto style design. They brought together a team of Japanese engineers and designers to develop a unique range of city bikes. The bikes not only look great - they actually also are great fun to ride.
In 2015 MBC launched its first two bikes, the AZ7 and the foldable ck2. The bikes are actually being assembled in China, but they undergo thorough quality inspection in Japan and use Japanese high-end parts where possible (e.g. from Shimano).
MBC also developed its first unique accessory. The bicycle bells follow Japanese traditional casting techniques and were produced by NOUSAKU - a traditional company famous for their windbells. The bicycle bells therefore have a strong but gentle and beautiful sound.
