What is HIROCOLEDGE?

A project by Riko Takahashi that aims to fuse art and fashion.
It features bold graphics consisting only of circles and straight lines. The collection is based on simple and functional crafts and tools that have existed in Japan for a long time, as well as the rational manufacturing ideas that have supported them.
With linear cutting and rational tailoring that does not waste materials, gender, generation, Items created with an awareness of shapes that can be enjoyed freely across races. 

This origami paper was born from a collaboration between designer Hiroko Takahashi and Tokyo based bookbinding company Nacamura. The paper's stripes and dots patterns allow to make various kinds of origami cranes. The crane is one of the classic shapes in origami, but with these paper sheets, the origami cranes achieve an entirely new modern appearance.
