Among the several Kokuten maps of Korin, it is a relatively free expression, and the left-facing Daikokuten riding a single bale is drawn near the lower center of the picture, but the outline of the body is drawn in light ink, and the costumes and gavels are drawn in dark ink, contrasting. Despite the fact that it rests on one bale, another bale is drawn on the other side, giving the impression that it has moved from the stable shape of the usual two bales.
Although praise is written at the top of the screen, "Lord of the Fuchikukan" is the issue of Nakamura Natsusuke, an official in Ginza known as the patron of Korin, and the first year of Hoei (1704), when the praise was written, is the period when the relationship between Korin and Natsusuke was the most close, and this figure can be seen as being drawn in the context of the relationship with Nagisuke.
