The SOYOKA line-up by INDEN is based on the image of a "light summer breeze".

The "Shippo" Seven Treasures pattern represents the seven treasures of Buddhism (gold, silver, pearl, coral, crystal, agate and lapis lazuli). The pattern used to be highly popular in the Edo period, especially on women’s kimonos.  INDEN managed to create elegant, modern beauty through their deer leather items. The contrasting black and white emphasizes the strength of the pattern, and the colors are easy to combine with any outfit!

This handbag is one of the most popular bag styles with INDEN. It is compact, has a wide, stable bottom, and allows you to carry everything from books, tablets, and your smaller belongings. Multiple internal pockets make it easy to organize the contents. The deer leather is supple and light, as well as very durable.

Koshu Inden is a Japanese craft made of lacquered deerskin with more than 400 years of history from Yamanashi prefecture. The techniques and patterns for making Inden were originally developed to produce certain parts of samurai armor. The same techniques and traditional patterns are still used to create contemporary objects of timeless beauty and high durability.
