This fruit bowl is produced by Ishikawa lacquer; a traditional producer of Odawara lacquer. It is a unique style, whereby the craftsmen let the natural grain and color of the wood shine through. The lacquer not only protects the bowl and makes it a great bowl for everyday use, but it also gives it a beautiful, subtle shine. The solid bowl will last a long time and the beautiful Ume plum shape can be appreciated as decoration piece, even when empty!

Note: This small family business will retire soon without successor. Some items may not be available anymore once stock runs out, in which case we have to cancel the order.
