Kaneko "Jūbako" Tiered Brown Lacquer Bento Boxes

These beautiful boxes are made by the traditional pottery craftsmen of KANEKO KOHYO. They are made in beautiful brown lacquer and come in 1, 2 or 3 tiers. 
Spare tiers and lids are available on request. 
Please note that the tiers will not fit together completely and the boxes may make a rattling sound when stacked - this is normal. KANEKO will take care to fit the tiers as nicely as possible, but as the items are handmade, they will never be completely fitted.  

Kaneko Kohyo Pottery was established in 1921 in the city of Toki - the center of production for traditional Mino Ware craft. Based on ancient techniques and the local know how Kaneko Kohyo creates traditional products as well as designs that are suited to serve day to day life in a western household.
