The specialty of the GIYAMAN series of Kaneko Kohyo Pottery is the shiny glaze of the porcelain that makes it look like glass. The word GIYAMAN was used at the beginning of the Edo period to describe glass, which came from overseas. Seven years after the GIYAMAN Series debut, Kaneko finally produced a new color to compliment their blue, brown and green lineup. This deep black release represents the black and white world created by Japanese aesthetics, as expressed in shades. 
A beautiful, unique work of art that combines Japanese crafts with a modern twist. 

The beautiful 210 cc cup is ideal for coffee and tea drinkers.
