Availability: Out of stock

This beautiful, traditional porcelain sake set is made in "Bizen" style; Bizen ware is a type of Japanese pottery most identifiable by its iron-like hardness, reddish brown color, absence of glaze, and markings resulting from wood-burning kiln firing. This artwork is Japan's oldest pottery making technique, introduced in the Heian period.

This style gives the sake set a rough, but classic look, and the finishing makes that it has a firm grip and does not slip easily. A simple, yet beautiful piece of art with a long history that will add to your sake-drinking experience.

*The bottle is sometimes even used as vase for simple, Japanese-style flower arrangements.
