GATO MIKIO Wooden Tea Container TAWARA

The Japanese tea container TAWARA has a very simple, compact design. It's simple shape is put into value through the handcrafted rills on the surface. The cherry birch does not only feel great in your hand, but together with the tight cap it perfectly protects the contents of the container from humidity and other factors.

The additional inner cap prohibits air to get into contact with the container's contents. 

In Japan, this container is mainly used to store green tea, But it also can be used to store coffee, herbs, spices or other food with a delicate flavor.
