The bentwood work cups are of exceptional beauty by adding a colored wood ring to the simple design of each cup. The colored ring adds a beautiful accent to the cups and allows each family member or party guest to have their own designated cup. The cups are very light and therefore eady to hold for people or children with less strength. The ring prevents them from slipping out of your hand. They can also be stacked, so that they don't take up much storage.
The cups are suitable for hot drinks such as tea, coffee and soup, as well as cold juices.

Japanese Odate Bentwood work is made of Japanese cedar cut into very thin slices. The wood is cooked in boiling water until it becomes flexible so that it can be bend into various shapes. The end pieces of the bentwood are fixed together with dark cherry bark, which not only makes a nice dark accent on the light wood but also creates a durable and natural bond.
